We may never land the perfect handstand — and maybe that’s never been the point.

Every fall, every imperfect attempt, every moment of doubt teaches us more than success ever could.
Through the struggle, we find humility. Through persistence, we find joy.

Handstands, for me, have never only been about the pose. They’ve been about meeting the impossible with open hands and an open heart. They’ve taught me that believing in myself is an act of courage — one I choose, over and over again.

Each day I practice, I grow a little stronger — not just in my body, but in my mind and spirit. Strength, it turns out, isn’t just about muscles; it’s about resilience. It’s about trust. It’s about hope.

The real balance we seek isn’t in staying perfectly upside down. It’s in learning to stay steady within ourselves — no matter how many times we fall.

We live in an age of information—constant, relen

We live in an age of information—constant, relentless, and often overwhelming. And yet, despite the sheer volume of data that surrounds us, the deepest truths often remain concealed. The essence of reality hides in plain sight. We are all, in some way, blind—wandering through partial understandings, fragmented glimpses of a greater whole.

Still, within each of us stirs a quiet yearning—to truly see, to know beyond appearances, to remember something we’ve never quite forgotten. It is a homesickness for the Source, the origin to which we belong and to which we will return. This longing is the thread of vidyā, sacred knowledge, that pulls us toward wholeness.

Every time a yoga practitioner unrolls the mat and draws a conscious breath, they answer this unseen call. We are not isolated seekers; we are participants in a sacred continuum, inheritors of a living lineage. We walk the path shaped by countless souls before us—our fellow travelers in dharma, our sisters and brothers of the spirit.

Let us be humble in our journey. Let us be faithful stewards of the wisdom entrusted to us—not as owners, but as vessels of Grace.

Putting the leg behind the head involves both strength and flexibility. External rotation of the hip joint combines with spinal flexion to allow the torso and leg to slide around each other. Engaging the pelvic floor, firming the chest and upper body and stabilizing the legs helps provide a solid foundation.

The challenging poses of the Ashtanga Yoga Third Series combine strength and flexibility in increasingly complex ways. As more and more students are finding their way into the advanced practice, understanding the technique that can best support the body is essential.
