Every posture is a seed with its own timeline.

We can show up, practice with sincerity, and give our full effort, but we cannot force growth before the conditions are ready. When we rush, grasp, or demand that the practice unfold according to our schedule, we often create more tension instead of progress.

Abhyāsa asks us to keep practicing. Vairāgya asks us to release our attachment to the result.

Where are my yoga drills people? This is a small highlight of my last yoga class on @omstarsofficial sometimes we were can’t stand, sometimes backbends, sometimes hips, you never really know until you joined the class! But there’s always something for everyone.

Yoga is not only about mastering difficult posture

Yoga is not only about mastering difficult postures. It is about cultivating a spirit that is resilient enough to meet life’s challenges and light enough to dance with its blessings. A joyful heart is not separate from the practice. It is one of its greatest fruits.

Yoga does not have to be robotic and serious. Yoga is also a joyful heart, a lightness in spirit and body.

There is a misconception that dedication to practice requires a stern face, rigid discipline, and an almost relentless intensity. While sincerity and commitment are essential, a practice approached with unnecessary tension often creates more tension. The mind becomes tight, the breath becomes restricted, and the body loses its natural intelligence.

So practice with discipline and devotion. Give your whole heart to the path but do not forget to enjoy it. Let yourself smile when something unexpected happens. Celebrate small victories. Laugh when you tumble out of a posture. Share the joy of practice with the people around you.

One of the most beautiful lessons yoga has taught me is that depth and joy are not opposites. They belong together.
